Associate Product Manager

Associate Product Manager
Role Summary

Beron Intelligence is looking for an Associate Product Manager to help turn customer needs and business priorities into useful, well-defined product improvements.

Working directly with the COO & CPO, you will support product discovery, requirements development, prioritisation and delivery coordination. You will collaborate with colleagues across engineering, quality assurance and customer-facing functions to help the team understand what to build, why it matters and how to measure its success.

This role suits someone who is curious about users, communicates clearly and enjoys bringing structure to problems that do not yet have obvious answers. You will have the opportunity to contribute to real product decisions and help establish practical product management processes within a growing company.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and organise feedback from customers, users and internal stakeholders to identify problems worth solving.
  • Support customer interviews, competitor research and other discovery activities to test assumptions and inform product decisions.
  • Translate agreed needs into clear product briefs, user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain the product backlog and support prioritisation discussions under the direction of the COO/CPO.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning by documenting proposed improvements, expected outcomes, dependencies and delivery considerations.
  • Work with engineering and QA colleagues to clarify requirements, resolve questions and verify that delivered functionality meets agreed expectations.
  • Track progress, surface risks and communicate changes to scope or priorities without losing sight of the intended customer outcome.
  • Support product launches through release notes, internal documentation and coordination with customer-facing colleagues.
  • Review product usage, customer feedback and relevant performance measures after release to identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Relevant experience in product management, business analysis, software delivery, project coordination or a closely related area. Evidence from substantial internships or independent projects is also welcome.
  • Ability to understand a problem, ask useful questions and turn findings into clear, actionable documentation.
  • Working understanding of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, development, testing and release.
  • Ability to write clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Confidence working with spreadsheets, basic analysis and product measures to support decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain needs and trade-offs to technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Good organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make uncertainty visible.
  • A willingness to seek feedback, challenge assumptions respectfully and learn from customer evidence.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Linear, Trello or Notion to organise product work.
  • Familiarity with product analytics, basic SQL or interpreting user behaviour data.
  • Experience reviewing wireframes or prototypes in Figma or a similar design tool.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations and common technical constraints affecting product delivery.
  • Previous experience in a startup, small product team or an environment where processes are still being established.
